Hi, I’m Richie Brumfield, a lead product designer with 12+ years of experience turning complex systems into products people can understand, trust, and use. I work upstream with product and engineering leaders to frame ambiguous problems, validate direction with customers, and stay hands-on from exploration to production.

My work spans enterprise SaaS, commerce, freight, logistics, and AI. Across ZoomInfo, DAT, Transfix, and Shipper CRM, I’ve applied systems thinking to uncover meaningful gaps, create cohesion across complex workflows, and translate emerging technical capabilities into intent-driven experiences.

I’m at my best when the brief is incomplete and the right path has to be discovered rather than handed down. I bring teams along by making decisions tangible in prototypes, creating reusable systems, mentoring designers, and using code and AI to test ideas earlier.

My roots are in brand and visual design, and craft still matters to me. Strategy is only useful when it reaches the interface, and the interface only earns trust when it is clear, coherent, and thoughtfully made.
